Road Trip: From the Golden State to the Sooner State

Route 3: US-101 N and I-5 N (1,400 miles, 20-hour drive)

This route is perfect if you prefer a coastal drive and enjoying the beauty of nature. Start your journey on US-101 N in San Francisco and head towards the Redwoods in Northern California before continuing your journey on I-5 N through the Pacific Northwest. You'll pass through stunning forests, the wine country of Oregon, and end up in the Columbia River Gorge. From there, head east via I-84 E before joining up with I-82 E, which will take you through the rolling hills of Eastern Washington before dropping you down into Idaho and eventually into Oklahoma.
